FAQ · Multitools

Do I need a multitool if I carry a knife?

A knife cuts; a multitool does the jobs a knife should not — turning screws, gripping and bending, snipping wire, opening a stubborn fastener. If your days involve small repairs, a pliers-based or bit-driver multitool earns its pocket. If you mainly open boxes and packages, a good folder plus a keychain bit driver may cover you with less weight.
