What we collect
EDC Shelf collects only what it needs to run the site: anonymous analytics about which pages are read, the email address you give us if you subscribe to the newsletter or send a message, and the details required to fulfill a shop order. We do not sell personal data.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic — which guides are useful, where readers arrive from. These measure patterns, not identities.
Affiliate links & cookies
When you click a product link, a small attribution cookie may record that the referral came from us so we are credited for any resulting purchase, at no cost to you. Retailers such as Amazon set their own cookies under their own policies once you land on their site. See our editorial standards for how affiliate revenue does and does not affect our verdicts.
Newsletter & messages
If you subscribe, we store your email to send the newsletter and nothing else; unsubscribe any time from the footer of any issue. Messages you send through the contact form are used only to reply to you.
Shop orders
Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. Shipping details are used solely to produce and deliver your order.
